I never imagined that I would have fun through crafts. Yet after years of admiring paper ornaments on Pinterest I decided to try to make my own. So for today I do not have a recipe but handmade paper Christmas ornaments.
I saw this wonderful idea on Pinterest, you can see the original post here. As soon as I saw them I fell in love with them and immediately ordered samples of wallpapers. The original material is suggested in the post as it is quite hard. While, the samples from each wallpaper cost one euro, and their shipping cost is 1.5 euros (at least for delivery to Greece).
I placed my order long enough so that I have the opportunity to prepare in time. If I saw them now I would not dare as you can not be sure when you will receive. So if you ask me I will suggest you visit your nearest bookstore or a stationery store and buy your own cardboard.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
To make these wonderful handmade paper Christmas ornaments you will need the following:
- Steel wire
- Pair of scissors
In making these wonderful ornaments you should pay attention to two things, the size of the cardboard strips and the size of the beads. And to be more specific. As for the strips of cardboard, you should cut them to the same width as each other. While, when you buy the beads, make sure that the steel wire that you will get passes through their hole.
Below you will see the video I prepared to help you this year to make these wonderful handmade paper Christmas ornaments.
I would be thrilled to hear from you. Even more, if you make my recipe and post a photo of it. Just don’t forget to share your photo under the hashtag #tetisflakes. Please do not hesitate to comment below or contact me on Instagram, or Facebook or Twitter!
