Smoked Salmon on Toast
Have you woken up after a crazy night out? Do you have smoked salmon, cream cheese and a ciabbata load or someone to go to the market (thank you Alkis) ?If yes, then the following delightfully super easy recipe to make is what you are looking for.
- 1 ciabatta loaf
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of cream cheese for each bread slice
- 1 small pinch freshly ground black pepper
- 1 squeeze lemon juice
- Greek extra virgin olive oil
- 300 g smoked salmon
- fresh dill for topping
Cut a loaf of ciabatta into 1cm thick slices, toast them, then drizzle over a little extra virgin olive oil and add 1 ½ a teaspoon of creamed cheese at each each slice. Top with waves of smoked salmon (a 300g pack is perfect here). Finish with a tiny drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, chopped fresh dill and a little squeeze of lemon juice. Delicious.
